The SmartScope MVP Series are full featured manual or motorized CNC optical measuring systems. MVP models feature measuring ranges from 6” x 3” x 5” to 12” x 12” x 6”. For manual systems, choose from the easy-to-use Q-Check geometric DRO, the unique InSite2 with video target generator, best focus indicator and edge detection, to the powerful AutoCheck controller and Windows-based Gage-X software with point-and-click icons, complete editing, and graphics model display. Motorized CNC models feature Measure-X software and an optional touch probe!

Video Direct Microscopes (VDM) provide high magnification visual inspection of small parts. The VDM includes an illuminated base stand with focusing arm, and is available with two interchangeable optical systems:
Extended Depth of Field (EDF) Objective with coaxial surface illumination provides video magnification of 7.5 x to 90x on a 13” monitor. Magnification is a function of the working distance between the objective lens and the feature being viewed.
Manual 6:1 zoom lens with fiber optic ring light provides video magnification of 34x to 200x on a 13” monitor. Magnification is a function of the zoom lens setting and the working distance remains constant.

Optical Video Probes (OVP) can be mounted to virtually any coordinate measuring machine or toolmaker’s microscope for alignment, positioning, and measurement. Motorized 6.5:1 parfocal zoom lens, 2.0x lens attachment, high resolution color video camera and versatile SmartRing® Light superb imaging. Also includes the InSite2™ controller with 6.75” LCD video monitor, video target generator, illumination and zoom lens controls, electronic best focus indicator, edge detection indicator, integral DRO with electronic skew alignment, RS-232 output, and provision for external monitor (S-video).
