Mojave black granite surface plates are produced to meet the exacting demands of the modern metrology. All plates are lapped by a precision technique to produce a convex surface that is located between two parallel planes separated by a distance equal to the accuracy specified. Inspection is made by NIST traceable autocollimators.

In addition to its fine line of surface plates, Mojave also offers granite accessories such as angle plates, parallel blocks, parallels, v-blocks, straight edges, and welded steel stands.

Mojave is equipped to resurface plates (of any manufacture) that are out of tolerance due to excessive use regardless of the color of the granite. Original tolerance will be restored, or a higher accuracy can be obtained.
